What Makes PCA Online Distinctive?
To best equip our students for the world outside of their Christian home, PCA believes a strong partnership between the home, school and church, the basis for Kingdom education, is the foundation for educating the whole child. It is this partnership, working in synergy, that allows a student to fully develop into all that God has planned for them. It is PCA's desire that students "grow in wisdom, stature and favor with both God and man." Our fully biblically integrated curriculum, staff and student relationships and our Portrait of a Graduate all make Prestonwood Christian Academy an academy of distinction.
PCA Online is such a wonderful blessing for our family! We love the excellent, biblical worldview curriculum, kind and helpful staff and teachers, and inclusion in PCA events, such as Grandparents Day, Homecoming, and All-School Worship! Flexibility in the schedule allows our family to vacation throughout the year, while continuing coursework. Most importantly, PCA Online contributes daily to our children's spiritual growth in their personal relationship with Christ, and they are fully equipped to serve others through Him and defend their faith. Who are we?
It is common knowledge that the easiest time in life to capture a person’s heart for Christ is during the childhood years. The home, church and school must give full attention to these biblical principles for children and youth from birth through maturity. In order to assist families in their desire to raise Christ-centered children, PCA Online offers the following:
- PCA Online virtual courses (grades 6-12)
- Prestonwood Christian Academy part-time on-campus courses (Lower, Middle and Upper School)
- Shared student option - combination of online and on-campus courses (grades 6-12)
- Standardized Testing (PSAT, Residual ACT, IOWA, CogAT, Math & Reading Diagnostic)
Students can enroll in one course to supplement their current academics or enroll as full-time students (online or shared) desiring to earn a diploma from our fully accredited PCA Online school.
PCA Online has been such a blessing to us. It's given our daughter the opportunity to go to a great school and accommodate all of her long hours in the gym. Katia's memories from high school are precious!
